Sports Day 2023

Two Fridays ago we went to watch my siblings at sports day. Delilah and William were very excited to spot their Uncle Peter volunteering there. Between events he took William to crawl around on the high jump mat

There was not much shade to be found along the track and turf. I was glad I grabbed our umbrellas to take along as they helped take the edge off the heat

Often I turned the stroller away from the activity we were watching so that James would be out of the sun, but there were other little ones in the same boat as him so he usually had someone to say hi to, even if it was a sleeping baby.

They were both so excited to receive ribbons for finishing the race

This was just past noon and we were getting ready to head home, Delilah was on an adrenaline high and William was really struggling with the heat, poor guy. Next time you see Delilah ask her about the preschool race, she'll probably tell you all about how much fun it was.
