Delilah is SIX

 

Our dear Delilah turned SIX years old! 

How does time go by so quickly?

We love our Delilah girly so much and it has been so much fun having another year to spend with her as she learns and grows in so many different ways. 

She is often shy around new people but once she is comfortable, oh, boy can she be silly! She sure misses her friends from Langley but she has been blessed with many good friends in our new church too. 

Some highlights of firsts for Delilah of the past year:

Was a flower girl

Played Spring Soccer

Sports Day

Shot a gun

Moved to a new city

HAS A SISTER

She is a smidge over four feet tall and if you must, she prefers the nickname Lilah. Don't get caught calling her Dee. 

It has been an absolute joy watching her become 'a triplet big sister' (her words) with Clara in the mix now. Delilah prayed faithfully for a baby sister to hold and she expresses often how thankful she is that God gave her the desires of her heart.

How old are you?

Six!

What makes you happy?

That I have a sister

What is your favourite animal?

Butterfly! Second would be flamingo

What is your favourite colour?

Green and sometimes all blues. And always all greens

What is your favourite thing to eat?

Macaroni, avocados, and spaghetti 

What is your favourite thing to do?

Play with my friends

What is your favourite TV show/ movie?

My old favourite movie was Minions, but now it's Ice Age

What are you really good at?

I'm really good at school, and I'm a really good friend. 

What do you want to do when you grow up?

I really want to be a doctor

What is your favourite song?

How Good It Is When Brothers Are United, The Wiseman Built His House Upon The Rock, and Jesus Loves The Little Children. 

What do you and your mom do together?

We do school together, but that's not really a thing. I guess not much. Well, we do do hair at night when the boys are in bed, and we like to bake together. So maybe we do do somethings. 

What do you and your dad do together?

Go shopping together, help him work on projects sometimes by handing him tools and nails.

What is your favourite book?

Both of the Elsa and Anna books we have, second would be the Cinderalla book. 

What's your favourite thing about school?

Hmm, probably vertical addition. I really like that.

*giggles* Being a big sister

What is something that makes your family special?

What makes it special is we all love our family.
