Wednesday:
Tuesday:
A cheerful line up ready to head to coffee social at the church
(that's Delilah's barbie tucked in her jacket with its hair sticking out. I asked her if she wanted to move it for the picture but she said nope)
Some simple entertainment
Thursday:
I got a tortilla recipe from Tonisha (thanks!) that is super easy to make!
The kids helped me with them on Thursday afternoon and we had burritos for dinner. Will commented that the tortillas were a little oddly shaped this time around and William just couldn't contain his excitement and blurted out, "That's cuz WE MADE THEM!!!"
Friday:
We took a little detour walking back to the parking lot after swimming on Friday to look at this firetruck a little closer for the boys. This fireman took some time to show the kids some fun features of his truck including the jaws of life which the boys got to try to hold (they're pretty heavy).
Monday:
We had ice on the insides of our window on Monday morning and it looked like little fern leaves to me
Some family thrifting on Monday afternoon
As the kids have been asking since the snow fell, I pulled out the box of Christmas decor on Monday before making dinner. It kept them busy right up until we had to eat. Putting little things here and there. We'll see when I have time to get the second box out, and then maybe try to put it all together cohesively, or maybe we just keep it decorated the kids' way this year...
If you're wondering if Clara is ever unhappy, the answer is yes. But she certainly is very smiley and will spread some cheer to anyone who will give her a second of their time.
We were at Home Depot on Tuesday afternoon and the kids weren't quite sure what to make of this Christmas tree 😆
While we were driving we noticed these adorable, perfect little snowflakes falling!
It brought me so much joy to see them.
So tiny and intricate. They were around 2-4mm and just the most beautiful.
