Wednesday:

The winter sunshine is so cheerful!

It also warms the trailer right up

I love how the boys gather around their dad whenever he's working on something

Thursday:

Peekaboo, kitty

I've been putting Clara in the highchair to join the kids at the table. She totally notices when they are not playing near her and feels left out very quickly.

Miss-dating is to be expected in the first week of a new year, right?

Clara was a bit cranky on Thursday afternoon. Needing a nap but refusing to take one. I put her in the carrier because I needed to make dinner and she fell asleep within a minute of getting in there. Passed right out, mid-sucking-on-the-strap.

More snow falling

Some residual sickness kept me at home on Sunday morning. But church at home wasn't too bad.

Delilah and William got this chess game for Christmas and I have been really enjoying playing with them

Monday:

This is a game James can play, sort of. The boys and I enjoyed a round while Will and Delilah were out on Monday afternoon.

Combating the early darkness outside by colouring inside

Tuesday:

We went to the community rink for the first time. The kids have been asking since it opened and we were able to make time for it on Tuesday morning. It wasn't too cold, actually I believe it was +1 or 2, but the wind was cold!

It was the first time skating for all the kids and the oldest two were especially humbled by it. We'll have to go again as we've got lots more learning to do!
