Playing Catch Up: October 1-3

 Wednesday:
Post-accident I was unable to do much and would move from the bed to the couch and then back to bed. I could cuddle Clara for a nap which made sitting on the couch and doing nothing feel more purposeful.

Thursday:
We arrived back to PG with fall in full swing and I was adamant to get outside to enjoy it. On Thursday afternoon I went out with the family for a few minutes to soak in the yellow yellows.

Such a beautiful view out our front door!

This dear chess game we got the kids for Christmas last year has well proved its worth. It is the first game of choice for pretty much all of us.

The gash on my head healing up okay.

Friday:
We borrowed a friend's car to go and pick up our rental vehicle. We've never owned newer vehicles so maybe it's commonplace nowadays, but I thought this warning when parking the car was silly.

In our rental minivan!
Ideally we would have gotten an SUV but the rental company only had minivans or smaller available and since we needed something to sit the six of us we were grateful for the van. It was a good reminder to both Will and I as to why we have never purchased one ourselves. Much too small of a vehicle for our needs!
