Playing Catch Up: October 5-7

 Sunday:

We spent Sunday in between services at our new house and went for a bit of a walk around the property. 

Lots of piles of junk everywhere. We gave the old owners an additional week to come and collect what they wanted. Some of the things would be helpful for us if left behind, but the majority would just be a nuisance to clean up so allowing them the extra week was a win for them who saw value in everything and a win for us who wouldn't have to do so so many dump trips.

Monday:

Monday was a busy day for us. Boxes everywhere! And Timothy got up on the wall!

Tuesday:

It was our goal to sleep in the house on Tuesday night, but we also were willing to be flexible with that if it wouldn't work out. 

A bit more cleaning to be done on Tuesday and lots of moving!

A friend works at an equipment rental place and was able to arrange for us to have this big industrial air purifier which we ran for a week in the house. 

This is the closet that we have at the end of the hall and those are all our bed slats while we wait for the beds to be assembled.

We managed to sleep in the house on Tuesday. Delilah and Will and I slept with our mattresses on the ground, but other than that we had what we needed and were all very excited (and some were understandably a bit nervous) to spend our first night in our new house!
