 Wednesday:
The firetruck playground in town had a safety inspection done and was deemed unsafe, so they took it down and rebuilt the playground. The unsafe firetruck was then installed at a community park not too far from our house. Rumour has it country kids are built differently... ;P
Our kids loved this playground when it was in town and we finally had the chance to go and check it out in its new home.
See Clara copying Delilah pretending to talk on a radio?

A real life doll

Found a shirt that matches well with these overalls Will's mom knit for Clara

Thursday:

Friday:
I love this fern-looking frost!

As Will has been taking down walls in the second house it's been entertaining with all the things he's been finding. This exterior wall with no insulation was a bit of a surprise. I guess Northern BC temperatures didn't bother the folks who lived here before...?

Saturday:

Will was out at a course on Saturday morning and it turns out that one of his friends works for the man who owns the property behind us. So the two of them went for a visit so Will and the neighbour could get introduced. And they have a cat that looks very similar to our Mozzy!

The men installed a fence so we have a smaller area of fenced back yard.

Monday:
The Christmas decor made its debut...

Monday:
Taking up the carpet revealed the original lino. Delilah is a bit bummed that we aren't keeping it as green is her favourite colour.

Tuesday:
The Christmas cactus is in the loop with the weather and decor and started blooming too!

The kids have been on an Uno kick the last few days. It's been lots of fun to watch them play, and even for all of us (minus Clara) to play together!

So magical seeing these Christmas colours out in the wild

The kids were having an "I'm bored" afternoon so I gave them an envelope of used stamps and taught them how to preserve them, something that my dad showed me when I was younger.

Thursday:

Eating my lunch outside was a little less peaceful than I was expecting on account of the dogs trying to convince me that they too would love some pasta for lunch.
