I'm not sure if it's applicable to refer to this post as a Weekly Wednesday Wupdate.
A Wobbly Weekly Wupdate might be more correct?
This post begins on a Friday and covers many days, extending all the way through the next week to a Tuesday. There are no photos from either Sunday, but we got to host people both days which makes for such a lovely day of rest. It is such a beautiful thing to have a bit more room to have more guests over.

The kids have started an art class being taught by one of the homeschool moms at church. They've both really been enjoying it and James even joins in from time to time.

Saturday:
More Christmas touches making their way into the house

Monday:
Poor Clara doesn't go out in the snow as much as her older siblings do, and when she does, she quickly remembers that snow is difficult to walk in and she mostly just wants to be carried.

We got our first load of lumber for the house renos delivered!

Tuesday:
William wrote this and declared, "It's everyone in my special family!" And hung it up on the wall in the hallway so we all could see.
See if you can decipher it!
It's all first initials, and there are some inconsistencies with his grandparents and with which pet names he included.

Wednesday:
We call this 'the woodpecker tree' and rightly so, hey? Unfortunately this tree is also super tall, and very dead. The top-most part of it has already fallen off, and it looks like more will fall soon. It probably will need to be cut down in the near-ish future.

So neat to be outside as the snow is falling

Carrying Clara, yet again.

I found this selfie of William with Mozzy on my phone

Thursday:
Watching Dad through the window while he's working on the new house.

Will took down the drywall in the bathroom and found the original en suite bathroom window framed out right where we thought it would be.

Getting out into the woods on a walk before it gets too dark.

It's been really neat to see the trail with a dusting of snow

Saturday:
Will doesn't usually have photos of what he's done at work, but he built this cone holder for a semi truck and did take a picture of it! So I get to share that here too!

Monday:
These evergreens flocked with snow sure look festive for the first day of December

I was pulling James and Clara through the yard on the toboggan when the load suddenly felt much heavier. I looked behind to see James laying there with his arms out, causing a fair amount of resistance!

A fresh snowfall meant we had to give the sledding hill a go!
The snow was a bit too powdery still, but that didn't stop the kids from having fun on there!

And out on another forest walk to look for animal tracks

The kids all crawled into the brush following some rabbit prints that they found

Tuesday:
A box big enough to fit all four kids! And since they were feeling a little sour about our trip to the Valley getting postponed they said, "Ship us to Grandma's house!!"

Delilah baked ginger bread squares on Tuesday afternoon and that evening she iced them with some snowflakes. Will gave her a hand with icing a Christmas tree on there too.
