 Wednesday:
Will and I planned a trivia night for New Year's Eve with our church fam. It was a very fun, competitive evening and we're hopeful to do it again next year!

The ice/snow on our tin roof slides off in pretty big chunks. If you jump on the porch pieces usually break off which the kids find very entertaining too!

And although we live in the country, loud voices can carry far over the silence of the snow

The kids got Chinese Checkers as a Christmas present so that's been a fun pass-time

Snow clouds rolling in in the late afternoon.

This extra headboard has been sitting by our front entrance since we moved while it waits to be brought out for storage. In the meantime I've found it works as a perfect place to hang laundry (diapers in this case) since there's a heat vent there too!

Fresh snow from those clouds of yesterday

Happy to be heading outside

Keeping Clara busy while I make dinner. I gave her the job of putting all the potato peels into a bowl. And she worked very purposefully at it long enough for me to finish the dinner prep.

Delilah and James trying out some snowshoes we got

I also tried explaining to my friends how I can run outside in my socks and they don't get wet because the snow is so dry. You just brush it off when you get back in and are good to go.

Gives you a bit of an idea as to how much snow has fallen.
