ThanksGiving

On Saturday we had thanksgiving dinner with Mom’s side of the family,
minus Uncle Wes and his family. Auntie Heather was also there, and Oma didn’t make it.
So a bit of a mixmash of family but we are thankful that there were 17 people around the table.
But before we get to that……

Nadia was helping me and Mom a lot.

We had put a bowl of chocolate covered almonds on the table along with some other things,
while our attention was on the stuffing, Nadia snuck up to the table and I caught her later
with her hands full of the almonds. J

Where's Nadia?

Peekaboo!

Nadia got this sweater from a lady at church a year ago, but it’s always been to big for her.
So this is her first time wearing it.

I love the buttons!

Here’s just about all of us for dinner

Later that night after dinner, we watched the Lorax. It kept the younger kiddos pretty quiet. They had all the lights off in the family room, and when I took the picture the flash went off and the whole room lit up. Oops!

Sunday we went to The Faber's for turkey dinner

Looks like Grandpa’s glaring…

Peter is lying down because he has a stomach ache, I wonder why... :P
Seems like Ethan, Matthew or Peter always gets sick from overeating junk food.

A couple thanksgiving dinners ago, Mitch jumped over 7 people on his bike.
This year he wanted to do ten.
Here he's just showing us how far he can jump,
so we can decide if we could fit ten people in that space

Once he successfully jumped past a certain mark four times Uncle Kris lay down, along with Alisha, and Ethan

Slowly more people joined, I even volunteered

Looking up at Mitch while he's explaining how the next jump is gonna go

In the end Uncle Kris, Alisha, Ethan, Uncle Bry, Uncle Dave, Matthew, Dad, Uncle Michael,
Peter and Me all got jumped.
(I don’t think Mom was too happy that Peter took part in it)

It was funny watching the neighbours peeking out their windows
I'd love to know what they were thinking

I tried videoing him going over us, but the camera batteries kept dyeing so it didn't work

Nadia and Alcyon

All the group pictures I took didn't quite turned out, but this one probably looks better than the rest.

That's it now for Turkey Dinners, today we're going someplace for a hike,
and I've got to do homework (ugg)

HAVE A GREAT THANKSGIVING DAY!!!!
