Christmas Eve

I spent most of the morning baking
and then in the afternoon we started putting together gift baskets
which we later delivered to grandparents, needy families, and the pastor
much to his chagrin Ethan was given the job of making Christmas cards
he claimed he had no clue what do make, but his cards didn't look that bad
and in the end he was quite pleased with himself
Mom saw this idea on the internet to make paper bags into reindeer
Ethan used all my big googly eyes for his cards,
so the reindeer have tiny eyes........
and don't really look like reindeer......

One of Eth's cards......
and  another one
my reindeer.....
around 3:30 we all willingly (ya sure) got into the van
to start delivering them to our unsuspecting  victims
I thought this picture of Nadia was pretty cute
:)

we got home around 6:30 and started getting food together
Dad had  bought Ethan a hockey stick for Christmas
but it wouldn't fit under the tree, so he stuck it in the tree
it was really funny and Ethan seemed rather shocked when he found it.
(the tree is somewhat falling apart.....and I think we need new decorations....)
starting a fire
we only use our wood fireplace once at year- at Christmas
so it's really exciting for the boys
I got to be the first person to open their gift
it was a snow globe from Matthew
I don't' know this kid........
or this one........

These boys move so fast it's insane
all in all it was a good night

We had Christmas dinner last night with Grandma and Grandpa
and tonight we're going out again.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
May God Continue to Bless and Keep You in 2013!!!
