When I Was A Kid

When I was a kid:

This slide was the biggest, scariest slide to go down

and absolutely impossible to climb up.

This motorbike was the fastest.

and it was especially fun to try to get the back wheel do touch the ground 

This steering wheel lead our ship through great battles against the pirates 

And this really really high fire pole helped us save many peoples lives 

We used to swing on swings like this 

And give cheesy smiles when people wanted to take our picture 

We would sit on this machine and dig holes and build mountians 

we would get pushed off the tower into the moat with hungry crocodiles 

We would balance (without shoes?) on the teeter totter to escape the scorpions 

and those odd times we actually would use the teeter totter for its proper purpose...

... we'd suspend the other person in the air 

We'd sit the the baby swings, even though we might be too big for them 

(don't think that I still do that)

When someone told us not to touch something

we'd hear it as:

"only touch this when you think I'm not looking"

But hey, we were just kids
