Dad said I should blog...

Well,
A lot has happened in the last month.

We're officially moved now! So that's a bit exciting!!
Boxes are starting to get unpacked and the house is becoming more and more livable each day!

It's a 20 minute walk to school for Ethan and me and only a 2 minute drive to our new church.


Here's what our old house looked like on Thursday night:

After filling the truck and moving the rest of our belongings into the garage and family room so they could be easily put into the second load the next day, we managed to completely empty and wash the top and bottom floors, leaving the two middle ones to live on. Around 10 we called it quits and watched the Minions Movie on our largest piece of furniture left - Mom and Dad's mattress.

Muffins were in order on Saturday morning for breakfast before we began the final clean and finished packing everything else that was left.

We didn't have any knives available to cut our buns for lunch with, so we ended up wiping the bun in butter and then putting pre-cut ham and cheese on top... It worked! 

We had to leave this Bible text and our beautiful butterflies on the wall in the dinning room because they'd take paint off if we tried to remove them... 

Saturday afternoon was crazy. But we had lots of help!!!!!! :D And got the kitchen unpacked and the beds set up, so that's all that we really needed. 

 Monday was this kid's birthday...

 Sorta the end of the family room, and the dinning room, and kitchen. There's also a hallway which leads to my room and the laundry/garage.

And here is my bedroom presently.... 
It needs a little bit of love. 
But I've got a friend coming over tomorrow to help me unpack and that should be good!
