The other day we went for a walk to Latimer Pond which is a flooded old rock quarry in an industrial part of Surrey.

Madilyn and Nadia both needed a hand to get back onto the pathway after going down the water because the ground was so steep.

Feeding the birds and ducks
The wonderful pathway we were following around the lake turned into a bike park. And only a bike park.
No more pathway.
But we made it work.
Dad skillfully maneuvered the stroller over all the roots and fallen trees and the rest of us picked our way through.
And interesting house we past on our way home...
