On November 2nd we celebrated Ethan's 16th birthday. It' always so helpful that he was born in 2000 since I don't have to do the math to figure out how old he is. I just have to remember what year it is which is usually easier than keeping track of his age. So anyway. He's sixteen now. Scary. He's the tallest in our family, having *finally* past Dad a few days ago. His birthday was a quiet day although we did have pulled pork as his choice for dinner and then a cake afterwards. Mom took him in the morning to get his L which he, "Would have gotten 100% on if the computer didn't glitch for one question!"
Will and I took him to an escape room (which we especially failed at) later in the evening which was fun at first but ended up being frustrating. Dad took him on Saturday to go driving since it was too dark out Wednesday after school and Ethan also received a fancy watch that is to hopefully last him a couple of years.
We don't really have any pictures of his birthday, but it is still such an important occasion that it couldn't just pass under the blog radar.
You have not been home much, but Mom measured us and I still have a1/4" on him. He just has fluffy hair. - Dad
