The Flu

On New Year's Day in church Mom went up to another mother who was holding a little girl in the nursery. 

"Your daughter is so cute!" Mom said, smiling at the little one. 

"She's been sooo sick," the lady replied, eyes wide, "She's had diarrhea and the flu all week long..."

And that is how our family got the 2017 edition of the flu. 

It started with Ben on Monday and has passed in and out of the rest family and is even still going around. 

Nadia was sick in November and somehow none of the rest of us got it then, and therefore she remained unscathed. At least thus far. 

I only got two days (14 hours) of work in last week. Thankfully I've got today off but considering how I'm feeling today, I'm not even sure if I'll be able to make it to work tomorrow...
