April Update

The month of April seems to have flown by!
Sure, it's not quite yet over, but there's just five more days.

Patricia, my windowsill plant, has grown a new leaf which tells me there has been a fair amount of sun! Thankfully there hasn't been as much rain as March brought around (and no more snow!).

Dad got promoted (a belated 45th birthday present) Manager at Translink last week and started in his new position this week.

Bit blurry of a photo, but Mom and Auntie Heather have almost finished putting Sawyer's T-Shirt quilt together. I do believe that all Auntie has left to do is hand stitch the last of the binding.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, Will got a new job. He started the first Monday of April and now is working for Logical Landscape Maintenance. So far he loves the work and his co-workers too!

Spring Soccer started up and Ethan is the assistant coach for Dad, and together they are coaching Peter's team.
Ethan is also heading to Victory the second weekend of May for the Provincial tournament in badminton.

Matt, Pete, and Nadia are all partaking in Spring Soccer. The first day got cancelled due to the rain, but it's been decent weather since then.

Madilyn attended Ready, Set, Learn yesterday and is now super excited (we're hoping) to start kindergarten at the beginning of of the 2018/19 school year!
She has also decided to grow her bangs out.

Ben is growing more and more independent.
Right now he's sitting next to me on his own chair at the computer, eating apple slices and playing with Lego. He is living a very un-sheltered life, climbing on chairs, tables, the couch, counters, the piano, the banister, you name it.
He's quite the go-getter and gives excellent hugs.
...And now he's eating the Lego...

Jumbo button pins and a huge diamond ring necklace from the engagement party.

The wedding planning is happening.
According to my wedding binder, we are right on schedule.
We've got the venues for both the ceremony and reception booked as well as a photographer. Next up is gonna be a caterer.

Will and I are also taking the Financial Peace University course which is being put on by a couple in our church. The course is designed mainly to help couples get out of debt, and then to build financial wealth.

  1. Madilyn was confused on Tuesday why she didn't get to school with everyone else because according to her logic didn't she start? Poor girl!!!
