On Saturday I was babysitting Madi and Ben and had the great idea to take them down the road to watch the kids play soccer.
We got as far as the sidewalk at the end of the driveway before it started to rain.
We were set on going to soccer and figured the rain would pass.
It didn't.
In fact, it poured. And was cold.
We toughed it out and watched Matthew, Peter, and Nadia play. As well as Ethan and Dad coaching.
And then we promptly headed back home.
Hopefully some pictures of their soccer skills will get taken soon. With all the rain I didn't dare use the camera.
Thankfully Sunday and today have been much nicer weather than Saturday and we were even able to enjoy coffee and then dinner out on the deck last night!
Considering we are now more than half-way through Spring it will be nice to have more sunshine!
