The One With The Crash

Will and I witnessed (well almost) this accident on Sunday on our way to Sunday Dinner.

This wonderful image will illustrate what happened.
We were cruising along Rawlison Cr. and there was a Honda in front of us.
As we approached corner A this Honda sped up and between AB reached well over 100km/hr.
They didn't slow before entering corner B and as Will and I got closer you could see dust clouds that got kicked up. I assumed these were from the vehicle slipping out of the lane and kicking up the gravel in the shoulder of the lane. By the time we turned B (a total of max. 10 seconds before the guy before us) the other car was not in sight and I assumed it had already gone around the bend at C (there is tall grass there and you couldn't see ahead from where we were).
Will pulled over right away though and I finally clued in that the car in front of us had actually lost control and was in the reeds.

His vehicle had actually jumped the ditch and then rolled and flipped backwards into the upside down position. Thankfully the driver had a seat belt on and his window open and was easily able to escape before the ditch water filled his car.

We called 911 and some tourists and the neighbour lady came and helped out while we waited for the police.
