Stuff Is Happening!

It seems as though I've had a very busy and exciting past week. Somehow I managed to take photos of things which I haven't been doing much of lately.

Dad celebrated another birthday on Wednesday last week so we went over there for dinner and cake. Matthew and Peter made a sailboat cake.
A little heavy on the candy side, but impressive none the less.

Of course what would be a family dinner without something interesting happening?

Ben was having a great old time playing with his balloon.

On Friday Nadia and Peter were part of their school's Spring Concert. You can see Nadia in the center of this picture and Peter is up in the balcony with the older grades as they all don't fit at the front of the church.
One of their songs was about being mad and happy but all I can remember is that they held up happy and mad emojis for each part of the song. It was definitely a highlight to the performance.
That and their version of  How Great Is Our God / How Great Thou Art which made me cry it was so beautiful...

Saturday Will and I had a very successful day buying camping equipment, grocery shopping, and gardening.
We also made a little pregnancy announcement which I've posted on here already.
Plan A was to use a pumpkin seedling but with all the other errands we were taking care of we didn't have time to go to a proper nursery to get the baby pumpkin.
We had a little watermelon on hand and decided to go with that.

On Sunday we were blessed to enjoy another day of beautiful weather!
We enjoyed lunch outside at the Vanspronsens' and then spent the afternoon and evening with my family.

All in all we had a pretty good past week and are looking forward to all the sunshine that's been promised in the upcoming forecast!
