Camping 2018

In a vain attempt to not fall completely off the face of the blogging world, I'd like to share a few photos from our July camping trip to Shuswap were we camped for six days along with my family.

The guys went fishing every night - Will was the only one to catch a fish, which he brought back to the campsite to get fried over the fire and enjoyed as a late night snack.

It was a bit too hot for my liking the first two days there (I get overheated quickly and being pregnant doesn't help) but between the shade in our campsite and the lake it was still very enjoyable!

This kid.
Our main source of entertainment.
As usual.

Dad, Will, Matthew, and Peter kayaked out to Copper Island

Here they are coming back to shore after their excursions.

Benji fell asleep in Dad's hammock

There was a little squirrel up in one of the trees dropping pinecones down to the road below. It was quite comical (as you can tell by the facial expressions in this photo)!

Will's slack line.

Ben kept asking Will for, "More high, more high!"

It's a tad bit hard to see, but there's an osprey sitting on the tippity-top of that tree, just above the water line.

That's all for now!

Who knows, maybe I'll manage to get back into the swing of things and get this blog more up to date!
