Powerless

Yesterday we were hit with a HUGE windstorm. It was 15 degrees outside with 80km winds. Trees were down on the highway, police and firemen everywhere directing traffic. Lots of shops closed due to loss of power. Pictured above is the barn at Will's work.

We lost power around 10am and since that means loosing all water as well, we went out for dinner.

We swung by my parents' house to shower and fill up some water jugs, and then set up camp on our living room floor by the fireplace.

We spentour day powerless.

There was a glimmer of hope when the power returned for all of four minutes. 

So we visited my fam again and decided to spend the night there. Will went home to pick up some clothes and such and was pleasantly surprised to find that we had power again!
