March Intermission

Thursday morning at 3:30am our alarms went off and the three of us packed up for a five day road trip to Coaldale, AB.

Delilah transferred to her car seat without waking up and then continued to sleep until 8:30

And when she did wake up, she was her typical happy self!

After Calgary I was very sad there were no mountains or trees

Stopping for dinner.

2hrs to the end of our trip there Delilah was getting very fed up with her carseat. 

She was very happy to be out for dinner and protested having to go back in the car. 

On Friday we went to Will's cousin Kees' wedding (the reason for our trip)

...I try so hard to take a nice picture...

Saturday and Sunday we spent visiting with Will's family in Coaldale

And Monday morning we began the trek home again.

I was very excited as we approached the Rockies to see not only trees, but mountains too!

Back home in the Fraser Valley. 

We did it! 

29hr round trip with a 4month old

She wasn't the easiest, but definitely could have been way worse too. 

Very glad she slept so much and gave us lots of smiles and giggles.
