Six Months Old!

Seems as though every stage of childhood is someone or another's 'favourite stage.'
Infant snuggles, baby smiles, and all the first milestones. Everything is so new -especially with our first- and so very exciting!

To me and Will each month of Delilah's life has given us something new to marvel at and be thankful for. She keeps growing and developing and we are still so in love.

In her sixth month Delilah measured in at 28 inches long and 19lbs!
These numbers put her in the 99th percentile for height, and 91st for weight!
She's in size 3 diapers and wears size 6m to 12m, depending on the brand.

Delilah has started to:
Sit all by herself
(Sorta) figure the soother out!
Shake her head back and forth
Play shy and give shy smiles

This kiddo is great at rotating - but not rolling over.
Delilah started saying 'Dada' which melts my heart and makes me tear up. I totally cried the first time.

She is really finding her voice more and more and has been playing around with different pitches of noise.
We've even named two of her favourite voices: her monster voice and her whimper/squeaky voice.

She is a total adrenaline junkie who loves getting tossed up in the air.
She loves sticking her tongue out and spitting!
Spitting everywhere all the time!

She's down to just two naps a day and eats three meals of solid food.
Her favourite foods are yams, applesauce, and prunes!

We also have introduced finger foods which has been lots of fun for everyone involved!
Sucking on her toes has also become a new favourite - she'll stick those little piggies in her mouth any chance she gets!

Jesus said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”
And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.
