This Labour Day long weekend we went to Deroche Christian Retreat for our annual Van Delft family reunion.

We got to use Will's parents' trailer for the weekend which was such a huge blessing for us!
Poor kid was so tired she passed out in Will's arms
And she was a over a million times precious and snugly when she woke up from that nap! ♥

This place means something different to each of the hundreds of individuals who walk its grounds each year.

To me it means family.
·
For the past 10+ years my extended family has camped here over the Labour Day long weekend.
So to me it means snuggling up on the couch, Sunday's potluck dinner, the massive slip'n'slide, huge campfires, and walking through the woods.
It means out of town family, stargazing, playing cards, staying up late, and leaving with stories to tell.
