3 Fun Things At Willow View Farms

Benjamin, Delilah, and I trekked out to Willow View Farms in Abbotsford this afternoon.

Fun Thing Number One: The Petting Zoo!
This caterpillar was the first 'wild' animal we came across.

They don't recommend that you feed the chickens by hand so there's a little conveyor-belt sort of bucket that you can fill dried corn into and then hike it up to the top where it slides down a chute to the chickens

The highlight of our visit, for both me and Ben, were definitely the baby goats!

^^This is what you get when you ask an almost-four-year-old to take a picture of you^^

Another one of those feed pulleys

Fun Thing Number Two: The Pumpkin Patch!

With a morning that started out as -3℃ at our house I was worried how cold it would be today. But we were blessed with glorious sunshine which kept us very warm, especially with all the walking around we did!

Such a dude

I love how she's just smiling to herself

Fun Thing Number Three: The Orchards!
Dee had a total of 20mins of a nap during our car ride between errands this morning. It was really starting to show near the end of our afternoon...

Benji's funny faces are always a source of entertainment for Delilah!

Ben was a bit disappointed that we didn't pick apples or pears, but he did leave with two pumpkins that he picked out all by himself and an apple cider slushie, which he saved half of for Nadia and Maidlyn to taste when he got back home (how sweet and thoughtful!).

Delilah stayed awake for our whole stay, but quickly passed out in the car on the drive back and got in another solid hour of napping.
