I cooked, pureed, and froze the pumpkin that we had on our door step.
And then I made pumpkin muffins!
I can't wait to try all sorts of other pumpkin recipes!
Delilah was playing on the counter (because yes, we're awful parents and let her sit on the counter) while I was making dinner and promptly helped herself to a muffin. And ate the whole thing! She didn't eat too much dinner that night though... 🤔

This shape sorter is only supposed to fit 5 pieces on each set of pegs. Our genius baby, Delilah, puzzled seven whole pieces on the square set.
Another awful parent confession:
We let Dee play with garbage!
(recycling technically because we do stuff like that)
But this is a box from a store bought lasagna and she played with it FOR DAYS!!!
She'll bring her toys over to the box, eat her snacks on it, lie down on it, whatever her imagination leads her to.
Cheap and easy fun.
We've been having mostly sub-zero mornings this week. Our backyard always looks sooo pretty covered in frost with the sunrise shining through the trees, but leaving the house 10mins before normal departure to scrape the car before hand isn't exactly my favourite....
