Days 2-7

We haven't been up to much these last few days, except loving on our new little boy. 

He is an absolute dream, and apart from one rough night, he's been a champ when it comes to nursing and sleeping. 

I hope to get a post about his birth up soon (still learning to balance having two kiddos!) but for now here's some pictures from his 2nd-7th days. 

Wednesday:

It was such a blessing to have Will home last week to help out with Little William and to make sure I took it easy. 

And I know that the latter was difficult - for both of us! 😝

Thursday:

Delilah gets very excited about Little William and wants to hold him, but then once he's on her lap she's not too sure what to do.

Overall she has adjusted so well to having him around and is completely enthralled by him!

Friday:

He is just the snuggliest nap buddy!

Saturday: 

Our bedtime routine now includes hanging out with our little dude to make sure he is tired enough to sleep well at night!

Monday:

It's crazy to think it's been week since this little guy was born! 

It's been such a strange time, with not leaving the house at all and not having visitors. But we are thankful for our moms for taking good care of us, and for other family members who have brought us meals. 

Hopefully this virus passes quick enough that everyone waiting for their baby snuggles will get baby snuggles from Little William, and not toddler hugs! 

(Though Delilah's little hugs are also adorable!)
