To the End of the Sidewalk

Living in the country makes going for walks in our neighbourhood a little different than in the city.
The road that we live on is a dead end and it's great to walk on, but it takes less than ten minutes to walk to the main road and back. The main road is pretty busy and there isn't much of a shoulder to walk on (though I have seen other people do it before!).
Across the main road from our side street is a less busy road, but it still has a painted double solid line and a fair number of cars. This road has a school on the corner with the main road, and so there is a half kilometer section that has a sidewalk.
(Boy I hope this is making some sort of sense...)
And it is to the end of the sidewalk that we'll typically walk.
Then turn around and head back home.

Here's a quick little map I made up! 😄

And here's some photos from our walk yesterday:

What do you think Delilah wants?

Pretty flowers!

Proudly clutching her cherry blossoms

There it is.
The end of the sidewalk!

'Yum'

'Nope. That was a bad idea...'

Even though it's been warm in the afternoons the mornings are still a bit chilly!
