Welcome to two months!
In his third external month Little William went to his first party, got put on a 3hr feed schedule, and traveled outside of the city he was born in.
He also went in the stroller for the first time. Previously I've just worn him in a baby wrap while out, but if Delilah is willing to walk then I put him in there now!
We moved his bedtime to 8:00pm, and I still nurse him before we go to sleep. Then he usually wakes up at 2 or 3, and then 5 or 6 for his next feeds. In the past two weeks he's gone a couple of 5-6 hour stretches, and I'm hoping that will continue!
If William is not napping or in his swing you can most likely find him on the living room floor on his play mat. And chances are Delilah will be under there with him, or bringing him toys to play with.
He continues to be super smiley and ticklish. He has the cutest croaky laugh, comparable to a puppy trying to howl. And he loves to talk up a storm while we eat dinner.
I left him to be babysat for the first time (much easier with the second child!), and have done it a handful of times since. The first time it was such a weird feeling for me to be out and about all on my own, without any kids!
He had his 8 week check up and blew the midwives' minds!
He weighed in at 17lbs, 2oz and was 25inches tall.
The two midwives there said that William is the heaviest 8 week old they can remember!
We love our (big) little guy!
