The One With The Gardens

We had a very busy and productive Saturday over here today. 

We have been loving spending so much time outside these past few weeks and have been slowly chipping away at cleaning up our space.

The previous renters left a lot of garbage on the patio, which encouraged us to leave a bunch of junk out there too... But today we brought most of it away for trash and recycling! 

And these gardens have been looking very sad and overgrown (I'm thankful you can't notice from inside our living room because they are embarrassing!) so Will took the initiative to clean them up. 

Looking back I wish I had taken before and after photos, but this one mid-task is still astonishing. 

Check out all those weeds and dead growth that Will pulled out! And this was only his first pass! 

Will usually mows the lawn when he test drives the mowers that he works on throughout the week. But he hasn't had to test any mowers for a while and the grass was beginning to look unruly so he quickly trimmed that too. 

At the end of it all we enjoyed our first dinner outside this year.

As helpful as Will is with so many things, he's not exactly the most knowledgeable in the fashion department when it comes to dressing Delilah...

And Will even put together this little bouquet for me with all the flowers that were overgrown onto the patio!
