Dee's Second Birthday

Our sweet bunny-loving girl turned two on November 4th.
We celebratedly simply at home that evening.
Delilah and I had baked mudpies the day before which I put in muffin cups, added sprinkles and candles and that was more than enough to excite her.

We had Delilah's birthday party a few days later which suffered a few hiccups in the planning process due to added covid restrictions. In the end we opened our house to Dee's guests and had people coming and going from 10am-4pm. It was a lovely day and Delilah was so thrilled with her 'Happy Birtday' which is what she called the party.

Her bunny cake

And cupcakes

Dee was so eager to blow out the candles!
And I love her little glance to Will as she tries to blow out the second candle. So cute!

Dee got this jacket from her Auntie Esther and right away said "Warm!" and tried sticking her feet in the arm holes.

While Delilah was off playing with her new toys Little William took the opportunity to lounge across Esther's lap while she read him books. He looked so content to be there with her.

Esther, I'm sorry, apparently I only took pictures when you were over. 😛

After the last of Dee's extended family members left we packed our little family up and headed out for a sushi dinner. Delilah, of course, enjoyed a bowl of  'Soup juice' (any soup broth, but in this case miso soup)
