Little William: 8 Months Old!

And just like that our baby is standing!

Little William started standing up on furniture at 7.5 months, which has exciting as it is, has resulted in a lot of falls. Since then he's gotten a much better hang of it and only topples over a few times a day rather than every time he climbed up on something.

Little William has begun crawling on his hands and knees.
He's learned the art screeching and spitting- especially during meal times...

He's on a 4hr feed schedule, 2 naps, and a disaster for nights.

A day in Little William's life looks a little like this:
(Sharing mostly for my own memory)

7am - wake up, play a little, have breakfast, get dressed
9am - nurse, play
10am - down for first nap
12pm - wake up from nap, have lunch, play
1pm - nurse, play
2pm - down for second nap
4pm - wake up from nap, play
5pm - nurse, play
6pm - dinner
7pm - nurse and down for bed.

There's about a fifty/fifty chance he'll wake up around 10-10:30, but the other fifty he'll keep sleeping until 12. From then to the morning it's just about anything goes.

Little William weighs 30lbs and is 31inches tall!
He gives such wonderfully chubby hugs and can be just the snuggliest guy ever.
💙

Since he could move he's always done this, but I don't believe I've mentioned it yet, Little William loves to attack the vacuum cleaner! We have an upright vacuum and he'll swat at the pedals and there's that handle release pedal which he'll hit and then the whole top part falls over! What a guy!

He's also started to seek after and gnaw on electrical cords.

He loves to splash in the toilet and has learned that he can flip himself over into the bathtub too 😳 Gotta remember to keep the bathroom door closed!

Opening cupboard doors and pulling the contents out is another new trick. Once again, not particularly a favourite milestone.

Taking his monthly photos is just getting harder and harder.
We'll see if I can have the endurance to keep this up for four more months!

If you remember I never did get to Dee's 12th month pictures... 🙈😬
