Weekly Wednesday Wupdate: A Little Bit Of 2020, A Little Bit Of 2021

Wednesday:
Teaching her all the tips and tricks on how to life her best life.
Jumping on Mom and Dad's bed - Check!

Thursday:
We celebrated Ben turning five on Thursday!

Friday:
Happy New year!

The kids needed some 'new' clothes pulled out of storage and I thought it was amusing how out of line this button was off by!

Saturday:

Will build this little insulated cat house for Bobo to give him a dry and bit of a warmer place to nap. So far he just comes in food, but Will's hopeful he'll take to it.

Delilah was helping me set the table for lunch, which she often does, but this time she tried to be extra helpful and open the avocado for me.
From the kitchen I heard her say, "I help open 'cado, Mom!"
"Ah okay, thanks." I replied, not thinking about what that would mean.
But then I came to see she had squeezed it! The insides were mostly mush. Puree was bursting out through four holes. And Delilah was licking up the fruit coming out.
Never a dull moment!
😆😆

During his days off over Christmas and New Years Will has been working on our truck. The back fender had quite a lot of rust and several holes went straight into the cabin.

So he cut out all the rust, formed some pieces of metal and welded them all in.
Asides from the primer paint being black, it looks and feels like new!

All day on Saturday Delilah kept asking, "Go church time?" and we had to keep explaining that Saturday was not church day but tomorrow we'd have church. By the late afternoon she was still asking for church so I put up a service from 2019 and she sat nice and quiet while I made dinner.

In the end Will fixed it and we haven't had a problem with it since!

Sunday:
Delilah loves toting her camp chair around. 😁 I find it so cute when she puts the strap up on her shoulder and holds her up so high trying to keep the strap balanced there.

Dee was very interested in Opa's puzzle and pointed out for him where there were pieces missing still.

Monday:

Little William's hair is has got such a cute little curl at the back! I'm so badly hoping the curly hair stays!

Tuesday:
We got to have Uncle Ben over on Tuesday, and although he gets impatient with her and she doesn't like sharing with him, they do get along very well and have a whole lot of fun together.
