The True Test Of A Janitor 😬

Will got a blacklight flashlight last week for his mechanics, but before it left for the shop we spent an evening inspecting our house.
As a janitor and the housekeeper of our home I was so nervous as we began, but once we got into it we found the house much cleaner than I was fearing it might be. It turned out to be a lot of fun. Especially seeing all the little handprints on the lower walls! 😍

Green and yellow are the colours we didn't want to see as those mean mold and urine, and we were so thankful to not find those colours in our house! 😅

It was hard to take pictures of things in the low light, but I wanted to include a few for fun.

These light switches are pretty clean, apart from a few water marks on them and the surrounding wall.

One of the many child-sized handprints on the walls

A dirty spot on a curtain. Not visible in the daylight but now I know the curtains need a wash.

The bathroom was by far the worst room in our house, but even then it was just full of watermarks. The tiled walls looks clean to the eye, and I wipe them down frequently, but now I know to specifically work at cleaning the invisible water stains.

And we found a crack in the ceiling in the bathroom as well. No signs of mold which is good, but neat to have discovered it!

Do you know anyone else who would consider this a fun date night? 😆 Black lights are pretty cheap on Amazon!

Now to take it along with us to the church next time we go there for cleaning...
