I've been keeping an eye on the black berry bushes and tonight was the night Delilah and I headed out with an old yogurt bucket in hand, in hopes of filling it with luscious, plump berries.
And we were not disappointed!
Out of focus... 😒
But LOOK at those beauties!
Not quite tall enough to reach all the berries, Delilah was an eager helper to take the fruit from my hand and put it in the bucket.
So. Many. Out. Of. Reach.... 😔
Poor girly got caught up pretty bad in some thistles too.
We had to sit down so I could pluck some thorns from her legs and even once we got inside and cleaned her up I noticed a few more. Not the nicest way to end the evening, but eating a bowl full of fresh blackberries helped I think 😉
