Now that we have time to breathe and figure out a routine for our lives Will was able to check something off our to-do list.
Putting up a more permanent closet rod for our clothes to hang on!
I found a secondhand garment rack just before we moved into this apartment as we knew that we'd need one for our clothes. We didn't quite know what our situation in the new place would be but knew we needed a spot to hang our clothes. While the garment rack has served us well, it was very flimsy, and was held together with superglue and tape.
The new rod is nice and high up so my dresses can hang and strong enough for Will's suits to join the party too. Will installed the rod a bit further from the window too so I'm not so worried now about fading or mildew on our clothes.
Now we've just got to rearrange the storage things at this end of our bedroom to find a new flow for the things we keep over here. My favourite part! 😁
