Weekly Wednesday Wupdate: A Rainbow and A Raise

Wednesday:
On Wednesday afternoon our landlord built scaffolding all the way up the side of our building to replace a security light. It provided a whole lot of entertainment for the kids. They brought books and their snacks and drinks to the windowsill so they could keep an eye on the happenings outside without missing a beat inside either.

And Shiloh still finds entertainment in the washing machine. 😆

Thursday:
Thursday was Delilah's birthday which I've already blogged about twice but haven't shared this photo yet.

These flowers came in the pack of leaf wall stickers that we bought as decor for Delilah's birthday. She asked if she could put the flowers on her bedroom wall and was so proud of them.

The sun setting on Thursday evening was stunning!
The skies were dark and stormy, but far off in the West the sun was peeping through and shone so brightly onto the trees.

We even got to see a full double rainbow (only got a picture of two beams, not the whole thing).
Way up high there were flocks after flocks of birds flying by while we were watching the rainbows. In this photo you can see one in the top left-of-middle

Already cracking out a new game that Dee got for her birthday - Dominos!

Friday:
Icing mustaches 😆😆

Our landlord had three loads of gravel dumped this past week which was also very exciting for the kids to watch.

On Friday evening we ordered takeout dinner in celebration of Will getting a raise at work!
Delilah thought it was so silly that she got to eat salad out of a box 😄

Sunday:
Sharing hugs with Shiloh

William saw his Uncle Matt lying by the fire and figured it was where the cool kids were hanging out so he came to join him

Monday:
In case you were wondering from my last A Day In My Life Post - These are what the kids call bubble seats and which they must jump on each time we go to the mall.

I spotted Delilah writing all hunched up like this and it looked adorable.
I did ask her if she was cold, because it looked a little like she was, but she said she was just 'staying comfy.'
Also, those three gift bags are ones that she got during her birthday party on Saturday and she's been totting things around in the bags since then.

Tuesday:
23 weeks down!
Most likely 19 more to go!
And yes, 23+19= 42, not 40 which is how many weeks is considered a full term pregnancy, but I am going into this completely expecting to grossly over due once again and am just looking forward to having this baby on the outside by March 20th. 😅

Delilah loves to vacuum and I love to let her.
She doesn't do a very good job, but it's great to see her so eager to learn and help out.
