Weekly Wednesday Wupdate: Cat Scarves and Crib Scares

Wednesday:
Kittens can also make nice and warm scarves.

Thursday:
Delilah made this carrot family during dinner on Thursday evening

Then she added a fourth little carrot

"For when God gives us our next baby!"
She is so hopeful that our family will be gifted with another baby soon. Specifically a baby girl, but at this point she'll take a boy too.
I hope she never loses her love and desire for the blessing of children.

I can't help myself but tickle James' chunky things and bulging belly.

Friday:
The kids find so much entertainment in 'writing' on this blanket.

Some pre-bedtime colouring

Saturday:
I'm not sure if I mentioned on here that our landlords got new cows a while back? We didn't give these ones names, but William will refer to either of them as Bettina,  which is the name of the cow in Paw Patrol

This old girl was very excited when we showed up at the fence to say hi, but then was rather annoyed when the kids tried feeding her grass

When strawberry picking becomes mostly strawberry eating...

Nap buddies

Delilah and the neighbour kids worked hard on building this sign on Saturday afternoon. They did a pretty good job considering the resources and brain power they had. The sign read something along the lines of ''AGFELMORDI.'' Funnily enough our next door neighbours (red car there) were having people over that evening and I watched three separate vehicles come into our parking lot and stop to try to read the sign. One person even got out of their car to walk up to it. To be fair, the sign was perfectly blocking off a parking space, which at the time of building I didn't think would be an issue because we have a lot of parking here and very rarely are there many extra vehicles over.

Sunday:
On the way home from Opa and Oma's house on Sunday evening. Tired right out.

Monday:
On Monday evening we had some family photos taken. I had a fall wardrobe in my head but with the heat we've been experiencing we had to improvise! It was 27℃ at 5:30pm when we left the house for our session.

Post photos selfie

Will was putting the kids to bed on Monday evening and while he was saying goodnight to William he said he heard James giggling and he looked over to see this!

What a guy!
This fancy new trick from James is not what his parents were hoping for just yet.
We set up the playpen for him to sleep in that night until we could lower the crib bed so he didn't flip himself out.

Tuesday:
We've hit the play-with-random-items-from-the-cupboard stage with James

Out for a bike ride after dinner

William tried his pedal bike, played with his run bike for a bit, and then decided that rolling a tire was the way to go. Until he rolled right over the tire and cut his head open!

James gets such a kick out of watching his siblings!

We wanted to keep William's head dry so his wound would have a chance to heal, so sink baths it was.
