Last night as I was doing some blog work I realised that I forgot to share this post about decorating our house for Christmas!
These photos are a month old now as we decorated the last week of November. But I figured I should share them now anyway for memory's sake.
We brought up from storage our Christmas lights earlier this week and the kids had such a magical time with them.
Then on Saturday (Nov 26) we cracked open our boxes of decorations and let the kids lead the way.

At Dee's direction we all had to smile and say "Best Christmas ever!"
She also fashioned these baubles on a string and hung them from all the doorknobs. We enjoyed them for a while before needing to come up with a new idea because the bauble clusters kept getting caught in the door when you tried to close it.
Once Will came home he got roped into the "Best Christmas ever!" photo too.
Having empty Christmas decor boxes made for great fun for the kiddos
We strung our white lights over our bedroom door frames
And put a garland up on this beam with the rest of the lights running through there.
Delilah decorated our little Christmas tree and keeps moving it all over the house and switching up the decorations. William put the two birds on our bookshelf, but just also keep getting moved around. They both had so much fun decorating and it's 10x the fun for Will and I to see their excitement.
