Weekly Wednesday Wupdate: Advent Calendar and Anniversary Dinners

Wednesday:
Delilah's Story Hour class at our church did a little Christmas program.

Still working away through our advent calendar.

We had Will's work's Christmas dinner on Wednesday evening

Thursday:
Such a bold sunrise on Thursday morning

Friday:
It was time to break out the baby locks and James was so upset to find he was unable to open his favourite cupboard.

It was our anniversary on Friday and we had wanted to go out for dinner but with our schedule for the day it just wasn't going to fit in, so we got sushi instead.

Saturday:
Then our plans for Saturday evening got changed on us last minute so we decided to go out for that anniversary dinner then instead.

James slept the whole 2hrs we were there! It sure comes in handy that he's used to sleeping in loud places.

Monday:
Delilah excitedly came to show me that she had set James up at the picnic table. While he was thrilled to be smacking away on the table top, I had to explain to Dee that it probably wasn't the best idea for him to be sitting there as he's still pretty little. But it sure was adorable.

The advent calendar has been a fun way to learn numbers together too.

Tuesday:
We had a pretty big dump of snow over night and woke up on Tuesday morning to all this! Mozzy kept begging to go outside but once we opened the door he'd walk away, but then ask to go out again, but then walk away. So Will tossed him out into the snow. He didn't last long, but didn't ask to go outside again at all that day.

Our patio is difficult to measure the snowfall on as it's rather drifty, but we got about a foot and a half in our parking lot which is a considerable amount for the Fraser Valley.

Still longing to be outside, but observing from the warmth of the windowsill.

I had asked the kids if they wanted to go outside in the snow, but they both said they'd rather be cozy inside. I would agree! So we baked together and enjoyed our heated home.
