James: Twelve Months Old

Twelve Things About James at Twelve Months

We love his scrunchy face and nose, the dimples under his eyes, and the way Every. Single. Person. says he looks just like his dad.

He has an old man-esque about him that we find so adorably endearing.

James loves to play outside and eat all the sticks, rocks, leaves he can get his hands on.

He isn't much of a climber yet and has a pretty healthy fear of heights.

He has such a fun time taking baths, usually sticking his face under the faucet as the tub fills up and once it's full he'll continually pull the plug out so we have to do it all over again.

James loves Mozzy and his tone of voice changes when he is heading for and/or playing with Mozzy.

He has a nod of approval that he'll give, usually for food or when he's wanting to do something mischievous.

He has such a silly sense of humour and often laughs at his own actions

A big snacker when it comes to nursing and we're still not really on a schedule but it's working for now.

James is probably our least snuggly baby so far, but he does need a minute or two to sit with someone once he wakes up from his nap.

James isn't very picky when it comes to food but if he's had enough of something he'll casually start dropping it on the floor or putting it on the table. Since he started eating he's been good at communicating about that.

James loves his siblings, daycare friends, and aunts and uncles. They make him laugh so much and provide him with the majority of his entertainment. He's often looking for them to be around and play with. And he's always seeking a reaction from them, or reacting to their antics.
