A boy and his cat
William has started drawing people and I teared up seeing this.
I love the little dots for the eyes and nose, and how the arms are coming out of the side of the head, right in line with the smile and how the legs go straight into the head without a torso.
We had to work at the church on Thursday evening and took all three kids along with us with no babysitter. They kept themselves very well entertained with all sorts of tools
Seeing this made me think it was the janitor's equivalent of kids leaving cookies out for Santa Clause
Friday:
On Friday we took the whole gang out for dinner to Montanas.
James was very well behaved
Mostly just chewed on the table and ripped the paper table cloth.
When we got home it was still light out (Yay for longer days!!!) so we spent some time playing outside
Saturday:
I gave James a big bowl with a little bit of water in it on Saturday for him to splash about in.
It kept him busy for about 15 minutes, putting toys in and out, and splashing his hands in. And then he turned the bowl over and all the fun was lost...
We had our first outdoor dinner this year on Saturday evening.
It started getting chilly once the sun got down and we had to pause our post-dinner devotions so the last of the family could put sweaters on, but we really enjoyed soaking in the beautiful weather.

Monday:
Teething is rough. And here I am making fun of the sad boy 😛 I was trying to get smiles out of him
And was only partially successful...
Tuesday:
We had two errands to walk to on Tuesday and I had wanted to get them done in the morning but it was rainy so I put it off until after lunch, and I'm so glad I did!
It was so beautifully sunny and certainly felt like spring!
So convenient for the kids that there's a playground right along our route too.
By Tuesday James had popped two teeth and was doing much better than previously.
