Wednesday:
I started scrubbing our front door on Wednesday afternoon and the kids took it upon themselves to finish the task for me
Thursday:
The kids built this fortress for their pet snail
He's looking more and more grown up each day
Dish washing duo
Delilah moved on to something else and James was very pleased to have the whole stool and sink all to himself
Friday:
Delilah and William discovered that if they turn the picnic table upside down it becomes a teeter-totter, or a boat, depending on the circumstances.
Saturday:
Our first time being allowed to cross the border in over three years.
We set up an animal washing station with a bowl of water and some sponges to keep cool on Saturday afternoon
Sunday:
James had his very first ride in the jeep at Oma and Opa's house on Sunday. Delilah very carefully drove him around the yard and it looked like he was having a very enjoyable time.
Then she kicked it into high gear and did her usual ripping around and he LOVED it.
Monday:
Someone learned how to climb on our white couch...
On Monday afternoon we got invited to our neighbour's to play in their shady backyard. James was all wet, sandy, and grassy when I brought him home so I plunked him in the kitchen sink to rinse him off which he thought was silly
Tuesday:
Madilyn came over on Tuesday morning to help me out for a bit
