Days One and Two of Camping

Off we go to Alouette Lake for a week of camping with my parents and siblings!
It was so hot the afternoon we left and Delilah had the idea of us all taking a cold cloth to help stay cool. I love all the things she comes up with.

Within the first few minutes of arriving at our campsite James was already in the dirt

Going on a family bike ride

In anticipation for our camping trip Delilah and Will practised many evenings to help Delilah ride on only two wheels and she did so great!

Day Two:
What would be camping without a hammock?

While getting James down for a nap that afternoon I noticed the sun pouring into our duvet through the blinds.

Will also brought along his slack line which was a hit with everyone.

On our way to the beach!
William was very excited also, just too tired to last the 10 min drive to the beach.

It was so adorable to see James with his hand on Will's back here as they sat side by side

Delilah heading out for her first sail on the Hobie

William coming in after his rip across the lake. He's pretty fearless and had a blast

We found such a perfect spot along the lake with room for both boats and nice shallow water for the kids to play. All in full shade too!

Matt and Pete both got the whole week off from work and were able to come along

The blue of the sail almost blends right in to the sky
