PG: Around Town

There were so many open fields full of round hay bales. So beautiful!

I bought this busy board before we left to entertain the kids on the drive and all three of them loved it! Lots of buckles, buttons, a puzzle, and a calendar to play with all in one place.

A smokey afternoon, but this pond caught my eye.

Will rocking James to sleep

Will took the kids to the truck on Sunday morning so I could finish getting ready for church in peace and quiet. I stood in the window while brushing my teeth to watch them all walk through the parking lot.

Our room was still waiting for housekeeping when we got back to it one afternoon so we took a little tour of the hotel to kill some time.

James' nap schedule was all messed up while we were away. When we got into the truck this afternoon I gave the kids ricekrispie squares to snack on but James fell asleep before eating his.

Delilah put this piece of grass in her mouth and said, "Hey look, Mom! I'm a farmer!"

Before leaving our hotel one day we put the kids' stuffies in the window so that when we were down in the parking lot they'd be able to see which room was ours.

Pro tip, maybe don't follow the GPS when trying to get places in Prince George. It brought us down this quad trail which Will decided we could drive through, but when we got to the end, it was blocked by barricades before going back onto the residential roads.

Thankfully it was a fun mishap and we were able to find room to turn around and get back to pavement.

While waiting for Will to pump gas the kids spotted this mural so we hopped out to check it out.

James put his hand on top of Delilah's while we were driving one evening and Delilah thought it was the sweetest gesture ever!
