Delilah Turns Five

At the beginning of the month Delilah turned FIVE! 

She is a willing helper and quick learner. 

At five years old Delilah stands 45.5 inches tall which is 4 inches taller than average for girls her age, and we do see that when she's around her friends! She may be young for her year but she makes up for it in height. 

In her fifth year Delilah completed her preschool co-op and began we began homeschooling for Kindergarten. 

She was excited to grow her own flower in the garden, learned how to bike on two wheels, and she still loves pet snails and caterpillars. 

She's been learning how to read off and on but has recently taken a real interest and is surprising us each day with what she knows. 

She enjoys reading books, especially princess ones, and loves to wear dresses and skirts. 

Delilah is quick to offer to help in the kitchen whether that be with cooking, baking, or washing dishes. 

She is very caring when it comes to younger children and often befriends those who are smaller than her. 

Sweet girlie, we can't wait to see how you grow and learn in your sixth year!

A doctor or maybe a nurse, but I think I'll be a doctor

Hug her, having picnics, and making things

When he brings me to stores with him, playing hide and seek

Jonah's book that he got for Christmas, or princess books

I don't know, maybe reading

What’s the best thing about being you?

I have a lot of fun with friends, I have very silly uncles

What is something that makes your family special?

God and I love my mommy and daddy
