We took our little family to Burnaby Village Museum to see the Christmas lights. A tradition my family had when I was growing up and knowing how much our kids love Christmas lights I was eager to bring them here.
Not even at the village yet and James was already thrilled to see lights.
He points with his finger close to his face and excitedly says, "Whites, whites!"
Our first stop was the carousel and good timing too! We only had to wait one round before it was our turn, and by the time we finished the line was 30 minutes long!
James rode a stationary pony and didn't mind at all
Delilah and William were on the big ponies- so excited to get started
There were so many wreaths all throughout the village and they all had different bows on them. I only took photos of these but there were way more. Such a beautiful touch to the town.

James was so excited by all the things to look at, he kept calling out and motioning to random people, "Look, look!"
There was a live orchestra playing Christmas carols
This woman was baking with the wood stove. Her teatowel accidentally burned in the fire while we were there which I felt added to the authenticity of the performance.
We got a large bag of popcorn to snack on while wandering around
We didn't even see half of the town before it was time to head home for dinner but we had a lovely afternoon and the kids don't we missed out on anything
Trying to take a family selfie 😄
