Ben and Esther's Wedding

On November 18th our sweet friends Ben and Esther got married.

As a flower girl Delilah got to have her hair done up all fancy

All ready to go!

(She was so tired from the rehearsal the night before)

Can't have a hangry bride! 😜

William's ring pillow all ready to go

Will stayed in the back of the church to get ready to shoo the kids in when it was their turn to walk

Veronica played cello and piano for the ceremony

T-2 seconds to go time

and approximately 20 seconds before this the rings fell off the pillow and rolled to the row behind! Thankfully we got them back and retied to the pillow before anyone else (except the gentleman sitting behind us) noticed.

William pulled off his very important role beautifully.

All their little people, minus one ring bearer who was too shy to participate

They had their ceremony and some photos taken in the same neighbourhood that Esther grew up in.

At the reception there was a paper air plane throwing competition to battle for the order of the tables to go for food.

As our table's representatives, and without comparing notes Will and Veronica made identical air planes

Will was one of few people to get his plane through the smallest target!

Esther's grandma grew and pressed all the flowers for the table numbers

The best date 🥰

We did not get a decent photo of the four of us together, but there was a photographer taking pictures also, so hopefully she got something good 😆

Their wedding text was the same as ours, Ephesians 5: 22-33. It's always special to hear a sermon message about that text, and insightful to see how different ministers have a different take on each part of that passage.

We pray that their marriage will be blessed!
