WWW: Shower, Snow, and Snuggles

Thursday:
Our van does not do well in the snow so on Thursday Will walked to the insurance place to get our pickup on the road so we could get out to do groceries. The kids were so excited to be using the truck again!

Saturday:
William is learning how to write his name. On Sunday I even noticed him write it in his church notebook all by himself without anything to copy.

Saturday afternoon was Ally's babyshower.

A full house!

She's due in about a month and we had such a lovely time all together playing games and showering her with gifts

Sunday:
Sunday stories

James was excited to spot several flocks of ducks in the snowy fields at Oma and Opa's house when we drove in on Sunday afternoon.

Monday:
Cutting and gluing.
They had a whole system going of one person cutting paper while the other carefully glued the pieces together with perfect precision and then they would switch. I'm not sure where the final product ended up, but they kept busy with it for well over a half hour

The position of post nap snuggler for James is often debated but ultimately is left up to James who he chooses to want to cuddle with when he first wakes up. William felt pretty proud that James picked him on Monday afternoon.

Tuesday:
The kids argue over who gets to vacuum. They might not do a perfect job, but I appreciate the willingness to give extra help.

I had the privilege of stealing Will away from work on Tuesday afternoon and we were able to go to a little cafe for a lunch date.
